Gareth Jones (GCRG Information Officer) and Paul Taylor (GCRG Chairman) made a delivery of much needed first aid, rescue equipment and sleeping bags to the Ukrainian Church in Gloucester today. Thanks to everyone in GCRG who donated itemas and Nicky Bayley (GCRG Equipment Officer) and the team for sorting out all the items at the Depot. We are only too pleased to be able to make a small contribution to the massive efforts that are being put in by the team at the church. Members of SARA are also collecting items and this is being coordinated by John Dutton and will be delivered shortly.
The GCRG calendars that we previously advertised have now arrived. There are a few copies still available to order. Send an email to chairman@gcrg.org.uk if you would like one.
Thank you to all 38 GCRG Team Members who took part in Sunday's rescue training. It was a very productive day practicing a variety of cave rescue techniques including stretcher packaging, stretcher hauling, setting up the Larkin frame and casualty comfort. The below video is from our YouTube channel.
