If you haven't seen Sid Perou's cave rescue channel, here is a video to start you off

Wishing everyone a happy Xmas and new year, stay safe.

GCRG held a Round Robin Training Session at its Depot on Sunday 12th December. Stretcher Hauling, Stretcher Loading, Communications & a De-brief session on the OFD Rescue. Around 40 people took part in what was an extremely productive and successful exercise. Thanks to all of the people who ran the various sessions and to Ian Healey GCRG Training Coordinator for putting It all together. Really good to see people.

Andrew Ward National Training Officer for the Cave Diving Group presenting a cheque for £1281.00 to Liz Maisey GCRG Treasurer at the GCRG Depot 12.12.21. Thanks from everyone in GCRG. The money is being used to replace the groups rope for all of its Rigging Kits.

Gloucestershire Cave Rescue Group members been assisted in this rescue Saturday afternoon until Tuesday, working in shifts with members of Cave Rescue Teams from across the country, in support of South and Mid-Wales Cave Rescue Team. Over 200 cavers have been involved and worked to a safe conclusion.

A fantastic weekend held at the GCRG Depot for the BCRC Medical Conference. Cave and Mine Rescue Teams from all over the country joined with some of our local SARA members for a couple of days trialing new kit, sharing knowledge and skills both above and below ground. Thanks to everyone who made the event a great success.
